Fender Emergency!

Postby DaBearSox » Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:24 pm

Hello, been a while since I posted here but since my build my trailer has been holding up nicely!

Last time out camping I blew a tire on the highway on the way home. (ALWAYS BRING A SPARE PEOPLE!!!!) In doing so the fender and bracket got mangled and I had to take it off to get the spare on so I could get home. The trailer is built on the Northern Tool 5x8 utility trailer. I ordered a replacement fender and brackets from them in early July. I received only one bracket however because the other was back ordered. Well of course now I am sitting a week from departure to a trip out to Washington and clueless on how I am going to attach this unique fender/bracket. There are specifically spaced holes on the frame for this bracket only and I would eally like to avoid having to drilled a new hole in the frame to attached.

Anyone have any insight on what I should do here?

Find someone that welds. He'll fix it.
