Just bought a Wazat.

Here's where you can talk to the manufacturers about custom built trailers, etc...

Just bought a Wazat.

Well, I saw a couple postings on this type of trailer. I have an Element and found out that it only pulls 1500 lbs. Left me extremly limited. I went inexpensive since I still work for a living and wasn't sure how often I would get out and about.
I saw the few postings of this one and while it may not be the best, I am crazy about it. I love the name, first of all-WA ZAT- Like What's That?
It towed like nothing was there. Stacy

Very nice Stacey... you're almost ready to go camping. Any plans to customize it?

That is extremely cool looking. Is that a newly manufactured or something vintage? I don't recall seeing one before.

The angles will look great with the E.

:applause:

Very nice. Doesn't the body come of the trailer with a WAZAT? I was curious how easy that was. I am also interested in hearing about your first adventure. (The WAZAT was the only dealership in town with Teardrop trailers so I am curious to see how they really perform).

First Outing

Postby Tiny Tow » Thu Mar 13, 2008 8:43 pm

Our first outing is March 21. I'm getting a 10X10 canopy to cover it and give us some shade. Also-protect it from hail should that happen!
It takes 4 people and there are handles on the sides to pick it up off the trailer and use the trailer. Haven't tried it yet. It weighed in at 660 lbs. I would love to have some cabinets like teardrops do. Don't have the skill, though.

Got a tiny heater, tiny micro, and a few other small things to try it out.

We bought ours on Ebay-big risk-but the owners had used it once and then got a motorhome. They had put plugs inside and an A/C which is a must have in texas. Got it for 3300.00. Looks showroom new.

They drove it down here from N.C.

Thanks for the responses.

It is newly manurfactured. I love your setup. I wanted something matching mine big time. I have a Gray Element. Yours looks really sharp.
I also wanted 5' wide, and this is 4' wide. However it is 10 feet long without the tongue, so that helps.

To TPMcGinty

Thank you for your comment on it not looking inexpensive. It looks really great in person. We will see if it holds up.

Check the SouthCentral section. We have some gatherings coming up that you should try to attend.

There is Beaver Bend State Park the first weekend of April 4, 5 and 6.
MAP LINK HERE .

It seems to be a 465 mile trip though. Cedar Hill will be this weekend.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Cedar Hill gathering will be March 13-15 at Joe Pool Lake- Cedar Hill State Park. [lake name was changed once my goof was pointed out.]
We will have Friday Movie night (submit requests to Dave), Breakfast with Cindy & Dave Saturday Morning, and Potluck on Saturday. If you get your reservations, let me know and I will put you on the list with the rangers.
This park lets us reserve a space together if you are registered. Send me the first and last name the space is registered in by PM.
See you there!

That would be closer at 252 miles but it is this weekend and you might PM Cindy about the campsites they are at. Map LINK HERE.

Have fun camping in your "WAZAT"!

Thank you for being so helpful.
We are heading out next weekend, so this weekend is too quick!
I did look at the calendar and plan for Inks Lake. I have a busy April and May. I wish there was one in Granbury the last week of May. I would coordinate it if I wasn't totally new at this!

I really like it... I'm usually one that would rather build to save money, but that price isnt out of line for a new manufactured trailer. Sure would save me a lot of headaches and get me on the road immediately.

I think the thing that really makes it, are those wide tires.
