If you guys come across the word "Image" in a post, let me know so I can troubleshoot it.

Mike, what about the icon with the question mark where the image used to be. The images of my build thread, for example, no longer show.

I guess it will just take a little time. I revisited my thread at viewtopic.php?f=50&t=40459 and now the images are showing.

PS But, now it seems like my signature block doesn't show on posts. Hmmm. Perhaps there is a setting for this that was removed or modified in the rebuild.

Your signatures are enabled by default. But it is possible to turn them off individually when you make a post.

Would you post a new message here, so I can check if your defaults are working as they should.

Mike, I discovered on the TJ site that when something like this is going on, you can try a 'Forced reactivation" and it clears the problem.

I checked his user_options and he is set at 231295. So he should automatically get the sig line showing. If he doesn't then the problem is elsewhere.

I also set enable_sig = 1 for the existing posts.

Mike, I tried to upload my avatar but it is telling me that The url is invalid. I had to get to my album in a round about way. It is not working like it should be. Just FYI.

Mark, can you please try again. Also, you should be able to just click the camera icon below your avatar to access your personal gallery (album).

Ok, clicking the camera gets me there But I cannot access my album from any of the use control panel links. I tried again to repost my avatar by pasting the url in the appropriate box but I get an invalid url message Same pic I had on the old board.

I took care of your avatar.

You can get to your album (now called Gallery) either by clicking the camera under your name, or by clicking the word "Gallery" in the upper RH corner.

Try doing another test post, but before you hit the 'submit' button, go to the very bottom (below the submit button) and make sure that the Attach a signature (signatures can be altered via the UCP) is checked. AND that the Disable BBCode and Disable smilies are NOT checked.

Then try another post after that to see if it hold s for you.
