I just did a forced reactivation. Try it again, without doing what Kerry said. I'd like to make sure the defaults are set properly.

Here we go again. Sorry for the trouble. Perhaps it's bad karma.

Below the "Save draft", "Preview", and "Submit" buttons there are two tabs: "Options" and "Upload attachment."

To the right of the editing window are the following references: "BBCode is OFF" and "Smilies are OFF."

There is no item that begins "Attach a signature..."

I'm running Safari browser version 5.1.3 on a Mac with OS 10.7.3.

...look in your "user control panel">>>"profile">>>"edit signature" and see if you can add it...also look on the bottom left of "post reply" page for "attach signature"...it is under and left of the preview and submit buttons........

MadJack, here is what I have done. I've resubmitted my signature. There is no "attach signature" phrase anywhere on any view in the "control panel" windows or on the "post reply" window or on the window of any thread.

To the right of the editable signature window are the following lines:
BBCode is ON
[img] is ON
[flash] is OFF
[url] is ON
Smilies are ON

Beneath the editable signature window are the following lines under OPTIONS (all unchecked):
Disable BBCode
Disable smilies
Do not automatically parse URLs

When you look at my response, do you see my signature? I know that it now shows up on threads that I have posted previously, i.e., before this migration.

Also interesting is the appearance of the quote at the top of this message. Apparently, the HTML code is not being interpreted correctly because the tags show as text.

...when you type a reply and under and to left of the "save draft-preview-submit" buttons there should be two tabs, one for options and one for attachments...you should see what's quoted above..."attach signature" should be the only one checked....

That is strange, but I tried your username permission and see that exact same thing. Have to cleared all of your cookies lately?

...welllll, now that we absolutely know we are on the same page...I dunno why it is not showing up on your PC...got me stumped...and yes, on your older posts, the sig does show up......

Try clearing your browser cookies and also at the bottom of any page click the Delete all board cookies You will have to log back in after that one.

Now this is getting even more weird. Look back at the reply to you in which the screen shot is embedded. That shows my signature, doesn't it. Perhaps, some delay is taking place. The system may be slow to refresh with signatures, at least, for some of us.

I'm very new here, as in only one post so far at viewtopic.php?f=40&t=48671. That was last Thursday. I fixed my avatar and the links to my images where I can see them in the post last night. If I log out and attempt to view the post as a guest you only see the word "Image". Is there something wrong with the way I created the post or my user settings? Or is this a bigger problem that the public can't see any of the images?

It should say "Go paddle a canoe Greg" at the bottom of this post right?
