I would seriously consider offering a PDF download in addition to a CD. Your are not likely to be selling hundreds of copies daily so I really can't see that you would have a problem with bandwidth (unless your ISP is very restrictive). The advantage of the PDF download (like Kruffle Creek) is you do not have to make and mail CDs and your clients get the manual NOW (instant gratification). Just my $0.02 worth.

I agree with Jim... Er, that's weird, I am Jim and I agree with Jim. Oh well, I am an instand gratification kind of person. I would personally buy the downloadable version before the CD. BTW, put me on the list as well. I am very interested in the Fiberglassing stuff. Could a novice like me pick up enough from this to glass a tear? Looking more at it as an alternative to aluminum for a TD I'll be helping with.
Started many, finished none... Bought a TTT <Sigh> ;)

Hi Jimbo!
The concept of this project is to provide the reader with the information needed to take any plan, whether professionally done or from a napkin, and produce a nice Teardrop. I make an assumption of some basic shop skills.. I'll take you from taking your concept into a profile pattern, to finishing.
I'm wrapping it up a I write this. I hope to be able to release the CD right after Thanksgiving. As for a downloadable pdf, I'm not sure how I would do it. (Anyone have first-hand experience?)
For now, just a CD.

I just assumed he'd know how to do that. Maybe not. Don't ask me, that's for sure. I've just recently figured out how to post pictures here!

Steve,

Have you contacted your ISP. I'm sure that they can help you, although I am sure it would be with a price. They may offer somekind of package for that sort of thing.

PS: There's always ebay!

Steve,
see if this is what you are looking for. http://www.tradebit.com/layouts/sellfiles.php

also if you have a paypal account you can accept payment and then just email the pdf. after payment is made. No merchant and hosting fees this way.(other than paypal fees)

I am interested in purchusing the pdf. myself

Steve - who hosts your website? You should be able to add "storefront"
options to your site and sell directly from there. Dave

Yeah Dave, That's the plan for the sale of the CD. It's the download-able PDF that's the rub. I'm setting up a buy-it-now page on my site. Folks will be able to buy the CD there, and pay via Pay-Pal. You could just do it the old style way, and send a check!! :?

Greetings from Colorado Steve!

Looking forward to your information. My first design was based around a fiberglass encapsulated foam design, inspired by "The Phoenix" camper [a VW based design] from Popular Mechanics [?]. Now available at http://www.rqriley.com/phx.html.

"How-to" information can be found at http://www.rqriley.com/frp-foam.htm.

I ended up building in wood, but still have other plans floating around in my head that I would like to try...

I am looking forward to the release of your CD/PDF manual!
