Postimg.org broken links

Postby lfhoward » Wed May 02, 2018 4:38 pm

Hi Mods,

Photobucket burned us not long ago, so I went back through my threads and converted all my IMG links to postimg.org instead. It took a really really long time and a lot of effort.

Now my photo links are broken again. Without notice, in mid-April 2018, postimg.org changed domains to postimg.cc instead, breaking all previous photo links in forums.

I really don’t want to go back and re-edit all my posts. Is there an easy way the mods can do a find & replace on the forum as a whole, and change all instances of postimg.org to postimg.cc? Either that or install some sort of plugin that will update the forum? Thanks for tying to fix this on the back end if you can.

Uploading the images to the forum album section in the first place, and using those images in posted messages is the only sure way to make certain your images remain available.
