ROUND TAIL

Did you just design your very own teardrop or tiny trailer? Want to discuss it? Here's the place to post your design for discussion!

Ageless,

Medford, the warmest place in Oregon. 118 once, snow almost never sticks, then the sun comes out. Ashland is always a few degrees cooler. Bandon is cold. Perhaps you meant Brookings...nice when it's nice but generally not. Willamette Valley is too rainy.

Hey, where's your project sketch on a 7x14 envelope?

I tried. Lord knows, I tried . . . . .I can't do it that way. I have a whole notebook of rough sketches for my use, but if I show you a drawing, iy's gonna be more detailed

I spent too many years doing details to change now

Uh, the Bandon error is mine, not Ageless'. You are correct. I meant Brookings. We used to do a Jeep run on Father's Day out by Cave Junction (The McGrew Trail). I did it about 7 years straight, and only once did it rain. That seemed miraculous to us norther Oregonians. Now that I'm in southern Utah, rain on Father's Day seems incredibly odd.

I'll leave the sketch up to Ageless. My sketches, like a cad drawing, have many layers on top of each other. The difference is that on mine the scaling is not consistent, but the color is, so they may be mistaken for a 3 year old's scribbling. Add to the mess a few random messages and telephone numbers written in the blank spaces, and you get the picture.

We had our Father's Day weekend JST gathering up the Cave's Highway last June. It was cold. Too much elevation...but all had fun around the big campfire and cooking in Dutch ovens.

Doodle it on an envelope, photograph and post. Let's see what you have in mind.

Prem

P.S. I took mechanical drawing in college...but it doesn't show because I went to art school later.

Err.....This has been bothering my conscience for some time. I confess that almost all of the photos I posted were of work done on the trailer before I drew that sketch on the envelope. I just didn't mention that little detail.

But I hinted at it with the note about Gorilla Glue on my index finger holding the sketch.

I design these things in my head. I hope all of you draftsmen, CAD people (Andrew, Mike, et al.) don't hate me for this. :worship:

Aunti M,

Thank you. Missed you.

BTW......I prefer the symbolism of the first sticker with the flexed bicep to the wrenched nut. :o ...

So, Prem, you're back from your vacation and bored already?

Sharon,

Rosie can come over and rivet any time!

Not bored. Try "frozen in place." NG

There's a heavy frost on the trees and the ground. We had a white Xmas...and still do.
