Feels good to be working on it, finally. I hope the extra thought pays off, I've been 'giving it thought' for over 3 years now

It looks like you've been holding back on us with your build pictures. Thanks for posting them. Your teardrop is looking great!

Tom

I wasn't holding back, I've just been waiting for you to finish building ;)

High Desert wrote::thumbsup: right on Burke! Great to see your plans coming to life!

Thanks for following, when are we going to see a build from you?

I love the detail you are giving us on your build thread, though it hurt to see that broken board! ...Nice recovery on that! I'm looking forward to seeing more. I hope to see pictures of you camping next summer! :vroom:

I like to see details too, so I am trying to share what I'd like to see in other build threads.
The damage was due to me getting anxious to finish the task at hand... I surprised myself with the recovery in that I was pretty calm about the tear-out happening and wise enough to walk away for a while.
I hope to see pictures of YOU camping THIS year.... how's your build coming along?

I have high hopes for next summer after a short distance relocation. Been remodeling the house for practice. So I am taking notes on yours for future reference 8)

Do you have a build thread going?

I'm up in Edmonton, grew up in Saskatchewan... go Riders!.

Thanks Prem, nice work on the Roundtail and your cargo conversion.

You need to throw a few pictures of your boat in your album.

I started one but I havent updated it in quite a while as I havent gotten much accomplished. Home reno's kind of took over this summer.

Sorry to hear about the Edmonton thing ;) If you're ever down here in Cowtown we should compare notes. Having someone else building a Teardrop so close motivates me to get back to work on mine! Thanks!

Burke,

Thanks.

Love your album. Love your ultimate teardrop for one! It's the first 2-wide TD I've seen.

That coffin trailer is not mine, it's a bit too creepy for my taste, I found that in a Kijiji ad.

I wouldn't sleep in it. I mean some pirate at a teardrop gathering might sit on it having his morning coffee and you couldn't get out.

I've heard more than a couple of people complain about their 4 ft. wide teardrops feeling like being in a coffin. They talk about getting 5-wides or standies. I had a 6-wide and got a standie.

Transformer fantasy: Coffin trailer pops up, folds open, and canvas sides roll down to the floor. Galley optional.

I wouldnt mind one that was more 4-5ft wide by 8ft long but same shape lol. I think my parents might not let me keep that 1 in their driveway lol.

Pirate,

Nice motor-sailer. What's it getting? Stripped and bottom paint? New mast?
