Ive got one more but I am sure that gmail will give me more and I have a hunch that they will be out of beta testing soon anyway so anybody could get one without an invite :SG

gmail has a great feature the Gmail notifier

http://gmail.google.com/support/bin/ans ... 9&topic=-1

a small window pops up with an email notice and the subjectline of the email.
I find this handy but I am a geek in that way :SG

...one of the nicest.coolest thing about gmail is the "labels" feature, kinda like folders in outlook and the ability to search thru your archive of emails using keywords also you can take advantage of that gig of storage by emailing yourself files that can then be stored on google's servers instead of your PC. BUT remember to never save sensitive file/mails on a web based mail server...oh and by the way, I have a batch of invites, if you want one PM me your email address
