VW Bug Hinges

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

I saw those parts too Len. I don't know what I am looking at or how the work. Jeff has been so kind to offer both sets of hinges to me. This way I can really see them up close and personal, in order to see which set will work for my application. There are so many difficult areas of the building process in the Runlite, it has me wondering if I may have bitten off more than I can chew :duh

If all goes well, it will make it's maiden trip to Mystic.

Ross,

Those parts are for the rear deck lid. The spring holds the lid open, the other chrome parts are the mounts that attach the hinges to the car.

Sorry, but I haven't got the hinges off yet, it's been raining here, but I hope to get them this week.

Now I see, as the blind man picks up his hammer and saw. I am starting to understand how they work.

Whenever you have the time Jeff. Still no real big rush on them yet.
