The Lincoln Mig Pak 15 goes for over $1K:

And you got some hoses and regulators and "no one was taken advantage of"?

I've gotten two oxy/act rigs for $25 including tanks at garage sales. Lottsa stuff out there. I know Sat mornings is "wife time" but someday I'll school you in the fine art of Treasure Hunting and provide you with the h/w and software to make it "mindless".

Keep up the good work.

Cheers,

Gus

My beloved was very upset at me for spending $100 at a yard sale. When I looked it up and showed her what it was worth, her first reaction was "Sell it!"

My latest Goodwill finds!

First, I almost screamed out loud when I saw his one!

A Jalapeño stand, for grilling or smoking. It has never been used! If not for Dennis, I would not have recognized it. Only $2.99, but I bought it yesterday, so I got the 25% Senior discount. $2.49!

Next, a chili shaped cornbread pan, Lodge, also never used. $5.99 for this one.

I have never found much at a resale shop. One Coleman lantern is it. How the heck do you find all that stuff at one time? Good for you, great finds and real good prices!

I would have bought the stock pot......don't care what the wife says....that is a pot I use all the time and that was a great price.

There are 5 Goodwill stores within an arc that I travel. 2 near work, one near home, and 2 kinda sorta between. Then, there is a Salvation Army Thrift store, two other thrift stores I cannot remember the names of, and a Savers thrift store along the same route. The route is 20 miles end to end, but 18 of those miles I travel anyway back and forth to work.

recently picked up a pair of old school rollerskates at a local flea market for $5..I skate alot already and am always looking for skate stuff..I know what the boots would bring on ebay and I bought them with the intention of flipping them and buying myslf a new mandolin..got them home, tried them on and oooo they fit so nice.. I took them into the local skate guru last night, new axles just to be rid of the old loose bearing setup, new suspension stuff and I got a decent set of wheels and bearings.
I will have about $40 into a pair of skates that are worth in the range of $200+.. me happy..anyone got a mandolin they want to part with????

All these bargain hunters...kindred spirits. I'm just plain cheap.

Found this Lawnware lamp at our local ReStore for 10 bucks...been looking for one for a while:

I picked up a "euro style" counter-top water distiller at the thrift shop . It is new in the factory shrink wrapped box . I paid $18 for it . I believe that the pricer thought that It was just a water filter and not a distiller . These distillers sell for $400 shipped in the US and about $475 at the stores here . I already have a water distiller (and an other distiller as well) so I tried to sell the new one . No luck so far . I was told that it was too high end for most , when a regular water distiller sells for around $175 . .... D.J.
