Can anyone tell me how to replace a URL with the word "here" when referring someone to a website?

(url=http://www.WEBSITE)"TEST"(/url)" Where the http://www.WEBSITE is the link and "TEST" the text you replace the link with.

You have to replace the curved brackets with the square ones.......If I do it here, all you will see is the TEST, and not the formatting

IE:
"TEST"

Ken, I'm computer illiterate, :frustrated: so all I got was the printed url and the word "here" and then the printed url when I e-mailed it to myself. All I want to go through is the word "here".

If you're just emailing it, you can either type out "here" then right click and add the hyperlink in the "address" space provided or insert the hyperlink then right click on it. In the "text to display" type out "here".

I'm sure it does................just doesn't for me! As I mentioned, I'm computer illiterate..............and even following written directions doesn't get me there some times. Didn't put my hands on a computer until about a year ago and I'm having a real hard time understanding how a computer "talks"..............and I don't understand it's language. Sorry.

All you need to do to the links above is add "url=" in front of the link you posted, inside the bracket and after the word HERE

Thanks Kerry.............it's easier to "copy and paste" the url than to do all that typing. God, how I miss my pencil! :rofl2:

Also when you reply to a message, look at the top under the subject line, there's a URL box that shows how to format the link.

Ken, I'm through! Nothing you've said makes any sense to me. I don't even know what your last sentence means. I'm computer illiterate, I promise. Enough is enough. I'll copy and paste. That works for me. Thanks for all your help and suggestions. Sorry I even asked in the first place.
