leinenkugel's snowboard?

Postby sftiggee » Mon Dec 06, 2010 5:47 pm

hey all,

I know, I know, I've been gone awhile. Toddlers will do that to you!!!

Curious if anyone out there knows of a Leinenkugel's beer promo snowboard floating around. I've googled, and checked EBay and a million different cities on CraigsList to no avail. I emailed the Leinie lodge to find out they haven't sold them in quite awhile. Of course, I want one!

Any leads on one would be very much appreciated. I am willing to pay for the board and shipping, it can be used. This is for my dear sweet husband Luke. We are Leinie fans and he loves to snowboard. he mentioned he could use a different snowboard for Christmas since his old Coors Light board is getting very dinged up. I thought it would be great to surprise him with his new fave beer on a board!

Miss you all, I'll have to update you on life soon!!

P.S. Forgot to mention, Luke and I got married in August (after 5 years together and 2 kids, we ran off to Vegas and quietly got married, it was AWESOME!)

Haha, true! By quietly, I mean it was just the two of us - no kids, no guests, no stress. It was laid back and fabulous!!! The 3 day weekend was our wedding/honeymoon part 1, and honeymoon part 2 was the next weekend in Duluth, MN and concluded with a drive through WI back to southeast MN, and a brewery tour and Leinenkugel's. He was in heaven, and we spent like 3 hours there!!!!

The promotional snowboards are pretty hard to come by. Saw a Yuengling board hangin in a local bar, and they weren't gonna part with it. Maybe if you know someone who works at a beer distributor they can hook you up with a beer rep.

Yeah I emailed my local BevMo to see if the general manager could get ahold of one from a beer distributor. I think I might be forced to wait for one to pop up on eBay or Cl (and will have to keep checking the midwestern Cl sites to search).

I was kinda hoping maybe someone here would be a beer distributor or know one really well :worship:  :D

A good freind of mine's son, gets hold of a lot of promo stuff from "Monster" energy drinks, I know most of their stuff is almost all one off's, not onepiece but one limited run.....not many to go around,
and one from a good brew could be real hard to find.

A retail disributor probably isn't the one you need to find, but the district sales rep for the area, from the brewery.

Just out of curiosity, did you ever find the board? Asking because I have a brand new one. Never riden or even waxed. It was a door prize at a local bar and I put clips under it and mounted it to my man cave wall. No worries there are no holes in it. I can be reached at steven.sneyd@yahoo.com
