You bet, Sharon! I may even put a cameo appearance of the Weekender-for-5 camper in the video! If it is at all playable I'm going to do a "Stumpwater" fiddle blues song!

I've already talked to the kids, they're going to "help" me make the video!

I'll keep you posted!

Hi All,

So, I purchased an ebony fingerboard off Ebay, which means I had to reexamine my strategy for the fiddle neck. Among other things, I had to decrease the angle to accommodate the addition of the fingerboard. So, here is the neck in its present state. I just polyurethaned it again, waiting for it to dry.

Hey Gang,

Here's the update. The fingerboard is glued to the neck. The neck is glued into the box.

Tonight, I installed the End Pin.

I'll keep you posted. Again, I would totally dig a "Home made instrument" jam at a future TD gathering....Just sayin'.

Y'know, I play a decent guitar and a passable piano, played semi-professionally when I was younger, which means I played in pubs, coffeehouses and restaurants. But, in all honesty, I basically only saw on the fiddle! Damn frustrating instrument, unforgiving, no frets, but I really dig it. If I get it finished, and it is at all playable, I'll post a video. But be forewarned, I ain't a fiddle player!

Been awhile, but here's the update: More or less finished the StumpWater Fiddle tonight! If it is all playable, I will post a video soon, but here are the pictures!
