Pumpkin Carving Contest

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Postby bledsoe3 » Tue Oct 25, 2005 7:51 pm

Chip, I just scared the crap out my 7 yr old. She screamed and just about came out of her chair. When my wife finally stopped laughing, she told me how bad of a person I was. It was great.

Madjack,

Just for your info, I like peach/plum pie ala mode. But don't tell anyone. I'd hate to be accused of being bribed!

When I moved to North Carolina, I made the mistake of asking if something was Pumpkin pie. I was then quickly informed that if I see a pie, it is probably going to be Sweet Potato, not Pumpkin.

Well, I'm screwed.

We're not even go to have Halloween this year, and I feel bad for my younger boy. (Gonna take him to something at the mall, though.)

The best I can hope for is to submit a carving on a stock photo carved in Photoshop.

forgive me!

Postby oklahomajewel » Mon Oct 31, 2005 10:18 am

:( Time and energy zapped me out this weekend (not to mention moody teenagers! :x )

But it's rainy in OKC today and not hardly any young kids in my neighborhood , only had 2 trick or treaters last year. SO if I carve my pumpkin still and get the picture posted here before midnight, am I still in the running??? I really doubt I can compete with Steve's memorial and the scaredy cat and Terri's.... BRAVO

Jack,
I'll be posting TDN's pic or pics as soon as I get my camera back from her.
BTW- Not a single cookie was tossed my way, so I can still be a judge.
Man... The sacrifices I make for this job. :(
