Sometimes I pretend to be normal. But, that gets boring...so I go back to being me.

Clogs

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Fri Oct 21, 2005 6:15 pm

I love to wear clogs. They are a very versitile shoe for camping. At the Redwoods Gathering I wore my green plastic gardening clogs most of the time. The redwood carpet is soft, and when you get up and down in the night clogs slip on and off easily. They are also great along the river because you can get them wet and dry 'em quickly. If I want to hike longer trails (or bike) I put on a pair of New Balance sport shoes. I used to wear Santa Rosa or Coleman brand hiking boots for backpacking, but I have a very small foot and cannot always find my size locally.

best thing going for ankles as trashed as mine. they weigh about 7 or 8 ounces each, and, as a bonus, I can put in strings like this;

so I can give a shout out to my Lady Raiders when I'm not working.

That's OK Dale, we all knew what ya meant. When I lived in Oklahoma they called 'em Jesus Boots. Since I've been in Flaw-a-duh I'm like you, wear sandals, flip-flops or go barefoot. When forced to work I wear boat shoes, but take 'em off every chance I get. Wife bought me a pair of New Balance shoes about a year ago, they should last me a good long while, still look like new.
