I thought these were very good, especially the two trompe l'oeil sidewalk paintings.

2012 Street Art Best Examples

I'm torn between two thoughts. Fist, very creative sometimes , admirable talent and all that.

Second thought....and this is the one I lean toward. Who owns the canvas? What if that artist decided one day to use my serenity as his canvas one day? I certainly won't be moved by his artistic agent. It's destructive and not something to be celebrated regardless of how creative, expressive, or whimsical it might be. Unless the owner gave that expressed permission to do so.

Some of these very obviously were contracted works. Others not so much. It's the latter not the former I am concerned about.
