While it sounds bad Slow, when your check comes it will be a little fatter. Remember back to those days when you had nothing to do and no money? I bet you don't want to go back. Maybe you need to stock your truck with some hazzard stuff, just in case.

It's time for me to stock the extra cold weather gear in my truck for the season. When you get the chance, get a good sized back pack (school type not back country gear) and throw in a set of long johns, some granola bars ,a water bottle with water, a pair or two of wool socks, some hand warmers, and a coat. Add any other safety gear that is appropriate for your area. Having it in a back pack makes it easy to move from one truck to another if needed or to bring to work and take home. Just leave it in your car and grab it when you get to work and put it in the truck. Then you will never be caught in the cold.

yea my father was a propane bobtail driver for V1 for many years.. there was a lot of winters that was horrid for my father.. he was very glad to get out of that business. but now he it a OTR driver which has it's moments as well. but before he did the OTR he ran 1st propane and I did home heating oil.

So I completely understand where you are coming from. :SG :snow

Slow, shouldn't your employer be providing you with safety gear? What are the OSHA requirements? Stay safe.

Does the company that gives you a pay check have a policy against you bringing your own flashlight?
