What I've done for a living for the last 28 years or so.

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

What I've done for a living for the last 28 years or so.

I actually retired about 5 years ago. Now I work as a camp Host in the Tahoe National Forest 6 months a year and travel SCA events and art shows for the Winter.
I took down the website so don't bother looking for it

Wow, almost 200 views and no replies. That has to be some kind of record!

It is a wild act but it's all real. I don't do magic

Well I looked at it and I still can't figure out what you did for a living?... But I'm listening! :D

Looks to me as if he made his living as a sword swallower side show or carnival performer. I've always been intrigued by such like.

hahahaaa! That may well be the issue.
I'm used to all types of reactions but silence is not the normal one.
Yeah Sword Swallowing, Fire Eating and disturbing behaviour with an ice pick. Less than 2 dozen actual sword swallowers in the US.
I actually trained to be a Circus Clown and was the Boss Clown on The Great American Circus it's last 2 years on the road.
Couldn't deal with the animal cruelty issues so I went to the Renaissance Fairs and became a sword swallower.
Much better class of people and no animals being traumatized. Travel the country and only work 2 days a week. Great job!

Also did a few episodes of Monster Garage, Battlebots, Robot Wars and Robotica. Love the Geek Tech shows. But that was a hobby not a living.

Lived on the road most of my adult life.
I started in a Corvair van and eventually worked my way up to a 36' 5th wheel.
Never even knew what a teardrop was until last year when a camper came to my campgrounds in one and I fell in love.

I sold my 26' Tioga and started building my own TD when the RV broke down in the CA Delta on the way to Sandy Eggo this winter.
