$16 with one turn of the wrench

Postby Woodpecker » Wed Jan 29, 2014 8:34 pm

Happily wrenching away installing the new hitch on my TV.
Didn't notice the air shock hose beneath the washer and one turn too many......psssssst!...
The rear end drops 4". Pinched the air line.
I had to buy a whole $16 kit to replace the bad piece. (Herman Munster voice) Darn, darn, darn, Darn! (/Herman Munster)

Well, on the good side, my trailer hitch is in and solid. Now I just need to run a light adapter and finish the TD.

It's really annoying when a 5 minute job takes a whole day and costs you more than you expect. I've been there and done it and probably should have bought the t-shirt.

I did buy the tee shirt, it shrank.
