Just wondering if any teardroppers I know were there? Of course If you remember it, you weren't there. I don't and I wasn't.

I was there from about mid afternoon on Sat. until Sun. around 1:00 when it started to rain during Joe Cocker's performance.

Spent the night sleeping in the trunk of a car...

I remember it but wasn't there. But we are in the movie "Taking Woodstock", does that count.

What a vacuum I lived in then. I was living in Philadelphia at the time and did not know about it until it hit the TV news. Have you ever thought what it would be like to be able to relive some parts of your life?

I headed out from Iowa and blew up my motorcycle in Indiana.. I had planned a head and had my girlfriend was following a couple of us two days later just in case we had trouble. She was driving my '49 Chev pick up with Fenton headers. Beautiful truck.

She saw me on the side of the road, but kept on going to Woodstock. Needless to saw I was bummed. So there goes my truck and my gal and all the stuff we needed to camp out.

Never saw her or the truck again. Damn I miss that truck.

I'm sure you stole all of this from some country and western song. Hilarious. :applause:
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Well I was there. I was working at a Summer Camp in the Poconos, found out about it Wednesday night, 8/13 and we were on the road Thursday morning 8/14.

I turned 18 there on 8/17.

Ironically this August and August of 69's days match.

And this year I Turned 63 on 8/17 at another 3-4 day Music Fest.

Here I am celebrating my Birthday last weekend with 50,000 of my close personal Friends. (I'm the guy with the Blue Shirt)

I planned to go with a co-worker. But our boss would not let us both off. I didn't feel comfortable going by myself so I stayed home and worked. He went off, got there and turned right around and came home. Said he'd never seen so many people in his whole life. Freaked him out. Wuss.
