That's a good start but the square tubing needs to be 1.5" and .088 wall. I hope to have a drawing posted tomorrow , maybe Wednesday. And e-bay is a good source for parts

I'll be watching this thread. I think these would be a lot of fun. 8) The wheels and tires from ebay are located less than a half an hour away from me at the go kart track that I used to race at . Oh geez another project ...... :D

For more parts you might want to try http://www.ombwarehouse.com They have all sorts of parts to help you with your project. I am using 1 1/4" and 1" mild steel tubing, with 26" fat tire in front and 7 x 10 rear go kart race tires covered in pvc tubing. The axle is , at this time , 40" wide but I may adjust it once I get everything mounted up to see how it looks. The engine is one of those Harbor Freight 212cc Hemi head ones that they had on sale for $94.00 with a 20% coupon. So cheap that I bought a few so that when the first one lets loose I won't feel to bad just throw another one on. I am going to modify them a bit to get some longer life out of them. The track that I mentioned in another post said that they are going to have some exhibition races with these things on weekends next year. I have a few photos that I will try to post in the next few days. I had better get back to working on the teardrop before I get into trouble .......again :)

I appreciate you posting it! I did a google search and found it and the first item was performance parts for the 212cc Predator that we are using! Cool!
