Trailer Park millionaire

Those airstream cost as much as my house did :). Except for being so close to the neighbor, the sad part is, the quality of construction is probably better.

If it were just me, and not my wife and dog, I can see some big advantages... Forced simplicity and flexibility being the two that pop to mind. The down side, nothing but a depreciating asset....although in 2008 even my stick built home wasn't doing that. We'll see now (the for sale sign went up last week) if we can have any ROI.

Being mobile, I would be concerned about finding a place to park every night...lot rent could be more than my house payment is now...easily...and I don't think I'd want to live in your standard "trailer park".

:wine: Yup.

Just a van would do if one can go totally vagabond.

I met a fellow last year from San Diego who said it was cheaper to just hike across northern Spain with a small backpack and stay in hostels in villages and towns than it was to live in a one-room apartment in California.

I'm surprised the CEO was investing to make Las Vegas a center for entertainment. Hasn't Vegas always been for entertainment?

My neighbor is selling everything she owns in order to purchase a small RV. She thinks it will be cheaper than the house that's already paid for. Personally, I think she's wrong, But I'd like her gone so I'm not saying anything.
