Things you have made

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Things I have made, lets see. 1/2 Nelson woody teardrop, 1/4 Nelson trolley top Stacker teardrop, F 117 Stealth fighter teardrop, 2ft by 4ft Shrunk-Bunk expandable teardrop, and the one of a kind, 1/8th Nelson Wheel-less 3ft by 3ft, expandable teardrop, suspended from the hitch and had flip out, section with added drawer for comfortable sleeping (alone). Next idea.....levitating TD, no hitch, no wheels, no safety chains, no lilghts, no windows, no door, entry by invisible unknown means. Hey lets go camping! Whew.
:FNP Roly, still planning, sketching, modeling with cereal box cardboard and making goofy camping units that actually work. Hey, want to buy one, I am running out of room.

I also love to create boats, three years ago I tried building foam boats using the same process and materials a foamie teardrop would. I published the build process on instructables.com, and have won contests.
Even better in my opinion, I have inspired many other builders to create their own foam kayaks, and gotten them to check out my foamie teardrop and this site.
144706 this is some of my current fleet of foamie boats, the sawfish kayak design was created for my parents, and has become my most popular design, with 16 or so afloat or under construction.
My oldest daughter also built her own kayak, under my instruction. It took her two years of on and off construction, (mostly off), but this spring she launched her new boat, Beta, 144704

Thank you Becca.
Come this fall or winter I'll be making some more.
I've been building a different kind of fence and gate that I'll share when completed.
Here's the Sapele gate before installation.
I bought the window over 20 years ago, it's triple glazed and is a second.

Danny, I know you are so proud of that gate...Wow! I am really impressed with your skills. So many of you have amazing talent. I built my "porch/deck" for my camper but I'll be darn if I show it to you guys. I'm no carpenter but I pretend to be when I have a hammer, nail and skill saw. At least I know which end to hit. ;)

My dad taught me how to carve, but i didn't develop a patience for it until he had passed. Pity, I would have loved to show him some of my stuff, and see his reaction (i'm sure he would have been shocked that what he taught me stuck).

Thought I might add a few items to the list... Made this rocking horse, or actually a "glider" horse for the horse loving grand daughter

Of course she is now 11 and no room for it at her house... The wifey said no prob... It can grace our entry way!

Y'all are very talented!

Not exactly fine craftsmanship but I turned this:

into this:

And it is flat. A trick of the light makes it look like it has a hump. I know because I pulled it all out to fix the hump. :) Haven't decided yet if I'm going to put a stone boarder up or just drop the dirt level...

I have been fixing up things around the house since last spring in order to prepare it for sale. Thus little to no more work on the CT has been done. But tomorrow, I start back on the trailer.

Built floating shelves for our TV and put all the wiring behind the wall.
Image

Added building roofing to under our deck to provide a dry area for my wife to sit under when it rains.
Image

For 13 years our garage was unpainted after construction. Had the garage painted and then I built these shelves to get "stuff" off the floor. I still have a ways to go to declutter, but it is a start. Oh and my new 160W solar panels came yesterday. I had not unpacked them yet.
