IMPORTANT-- Reboot your router!!
Serious on this one. Looks like a Russian hacker group has hacked into at least 500,000 routers, most in the US. These include the big names like Cisco, Linksys, Netgear and TP-Link. The initial fix for this is to simply turn your router off and then back on. The long-term fix is to simply do a factory reset or upgrade your firmware from your router manufacturer. This comes from an actual FBI warning that did not get much publicity. The exploit was discovered by Cisco's threat analysis group.
The malware intrusion can take over your router, intercept you communications and redirect all of your traffic. Use a VPN to help stop this.
