Starting Small Engines

You know how many people, myself included, have used battery drills to start their lawnmowers?
Just put a socket on the drill, take the rope starter off and put the drill on the nut that holds the flywheel on.

Well, has anyone done it to a 25HP Mercury 2 stroke outboard?
Is the flywheel retaining nut/bolt strong enough for the job?
I'm thinking 25 HP, about 360cc, is getting a bit big for this approach, but I'm pondering how much easier life would be if the twin 25s on my little catamaran were electric start, and the price of the kits start at $1000 per motor landed in Australia.
