Anyone used this side marker light?

Postby Airspeed » Tue Aug 14, 2007 3:19 pm

Found this on Ebay ( $9 ) Have any of you used this type of light?
I'm wondering if the chrome trim is plastic or some type of metal? The seller doesn't have a clue!
Thanks! Aaron

It's a plastic trim ring.....I bought mine at del city.

I'd stay away from a seller who can't even tell plastic from metal......

The actual LED is a sealed unit, the trim ring just snaps over it to cover the screw holes. I plan on using a little bit of silicone to make sure they stay on and stay watertight.

You might check out the auto parts stores in your area. O'Reileys here has them in metal for about $8. Nice looking and LED.

I used them, also got them from del city. Before buying them from the Ebay seller check out his shipping prices, del city will probably be the cheapest.
