Marker/clearance lights question and DOT regs.

Postby 49er Teardrop » Thu Jul 26, 2007 8:49 pm

Hello All! Does DOT require us to have UPPER orange/red marker lights if the original ones on the Harbor Freight chassis are still visible and in the same place? I notice that most TTT photos only show one set of lights. I was going to run wiring to hook up upper lights to the lower lights... but I WON'T if I don't need to. Thanks! --49er Vic

Not unless you get real wide or long or tall.

Thanks Bruce! I was looking ALL over the DOT site for those regs. Minimum 2 is good enough for me! Nice looking tear! All the best! --49er Vic
