TV signal booster ?

Postby rmcelroy » Wed Sep 05, 2007 9:26 am

OK guys, I have been charged with finding a signal booster for my Mom and step Dads RV TV.

I know so little about this subject I don't even know the right keywords to google.

I've looked back throught the history here and havn't seen anything yet.

My Mom is super paranoid about the weather-and well it rained last week and she almost went over...LOL

Any help would be appreciated.

Mc.

Mc, goto your local RadioShack and they will have what ya want...or go West on I-20, out to the big truckstops around exit100 and take a look at what they have available...whichever is closer...

I don't know what you need or are installing it on. But my travel trailer came with a crank up amplified antenna. It is really impressive. We can get quite a few TV stations when no one else can. These wouldn't be too great on a teardrop though.

Nice avitar Jeepr looks like a cool place to live!

I've found out they have a Winegard, I'll have to go over to find out if it is already amplified or not.

All this research has started to make me think about getting an antenna for my tear. I made provisions to bring co-ax into the cabin-but don't have a brodcast option (yet).

Warpony had a pop up umprella type antenna I saw last year-that kinda stuck in my head.

Have fun!
