PD4045 - DC Wires

I am looking at my PD4045 as i plan my wiring. I see that my recently purchased PD4045 has 2 thicker red wires coming out of the first two circuits on the DC side and go right out the back. Are these used for anything in specific or just higher powered devices? There are 10 thinner black wires coming out the back too.

Number 1 is the charging circuit for the battery, and I've forgotten what #2 is. I'll try to put my hands on the docs tomorrow to see if I made a note.

12 volt side

The top 2 red wires are for 30-amp circuits

The bottom 10 black wires are rated at 20-amp
