tailgate light bar

I'm considering placing a tailgate type signal light bar at the rear of my camper. Just for a little more safety. Has anyone tried this? My camper is exactly 48" wide and all the bars I see are 49". I could make it work but would like to keep it neat. Anybody seen these in a narrower style, 48" or less?

Sorry I don't have a better picture, but look under the floor of the trailer. There are 2 18" LED light bars there. I have them wired into the tail lights. If I remember right, I got them from Ebay.

Brake and turn signals meant for a motorcycle. LEDs. High mounted, kinda hard to see in this photo.
