Still in the planing phase on electrical
If l have the pd4045 with the typical 30 amp
Plug at most campsites then what do I need at home to stay charged? Can I just get an adapter or do I need a 30 amp Circuit at home? Please excuse my ignorance

I use a 30 amp female to 15 amp male adapter to charge while at home. I also keep an adapter in the teardrop in case the pedestal at the campground has a defective 30 amp receptacle and/or breaker. Our local Walmart stocks the adapters.

Small solar panel for us, works even in cloudy weather.

being a welder has me w/ a larger service panel than the average Joe

that being said, i have installed an RV-30A plug at home and 4 of them at the barn(for mine & gatherings)

this way i can run all systems as if camping or when using my trailer as a GUEST HOUSE

IF you only wish to charge your battery pack while at home the above ^^ suggested use of adapters should suffice

just be careful when using adapters and maintain an awareness of the temperature of the wiring & plugs which can be a warning about potential unpleasant issues

as long as the wires & plugs remain cool everything should, SHOULD, be OK...

I made up an extension cord with the 30A female receptacle and 10 ga wire that plugs into a 20A dedicated plug in the garage.
