I am building a 5x8 and it will have 5000btu ac and a battery tender and a small tv all the lights will be 12 volt. Do I need a 30 amp rv receptical or just a Normally male 110 with a weather cover

The AC will use 5 amps more during hard starts, converter about 6 amps so yes you can use a 20A (assuming it is there and works). However it is surprising how much your "needs" for current can grow the coffee maker, the electric fry pan...
