Just to clarify the "12v products are naturally battery hogs", I think the 12 volt fans are okay, aren't they? Also, what about car AM/FM/CD stereos?
Is there anything else that's okay for 12 volt?

Sharon, we are talking about kitchen type appliances...coffee makers, oven, electric skillets and even some fans and radios...if it meant to run in an auto, it will pull power enough to kill a battery but that would usually entail a full weekend of fairly hard usage(talking about fans and TV/radio)..........
