My boss shared a website with me yesterday that claims Listerine makes a good mosquito repellant. They put it in a squirt bottle and spray the general area. Also seems to work as a poison if you spray it directly on the offender. I'll have to try it before I believe it.

One thing I do recommend for any bug bites, is to put a dab of waterless (aka alcohol) soap on the bite. It will pull out whatever the offending bug left behind to swell your skin. Works especially well on Deer/Horse fly bites.

Best deterent for mosquitos
