Frustrated w/food burning - is it the cookware or the stove?

Anything to do with camping, fundamentals, secrets, etc...

Wow! thats what that thing is! neato. I found one in the dump years ago. I mean years ago. I kept it as I liked the dang thing but never knew what it was for. Now over 20 years later I have a uses for it.

Good by to red and black steaks and embarresed me the cook. the girls will love me now. I won't be such a gag on my steaks. My happy thoughts, Slowcowboy.
Plans. there was supposed to be plans to be followed when I built this thing. Opps! AH, gee, tum,tee tum. I think I forgot about the plans 2 years ago. ------Tow vehicles, 1995 ford explore, 1994 ford ranger, 1993 ford F-150, 2009 4x9 Off road teardrop, on harbor freight greatly modified frame.

Yes, that's for putting under your pot to keep things from burning! Good to have!

I recently invested in a Lodge cast iron trivet and I am thinking that might accomplish the same thing on our old coleman stove (so I don't have to take my "good" simmer plate from the house. I'm going to try it, anyway!
