I have found that splatter screens come in very handing while camping. You can make toast with them, heat up rolls or bagels, or in my case, heat up tortillas for tacos. Simply put the food on the screen and hold over any kind of flame, moving it around so as not to burn. You can check the "doneness" by lifting up up the screen and looking underneath. I have been using these for years and at every campground someone will come by to take a look. Super lightweight and easy to store.

sounds like a good deal. They go for about 6x that new!

I'm trying to convince myself to give mine to the boy who's moving to KY, along with my microwave. In the counter space that would free up, I can put a $60 GE Toaster / Oven / Convection appliance with a rotisserie inside.

MMMM. rotisserie chicken, kebabs, etc. :)

Truck stops sell 12v ovens. They are very slow to heat up, but they will get the job done in time.

Funny post. I've been playing in the Health and Wealth Raffle here in Arizona since it started and never won anything until this year. And what did I win? A Hamilton Beach Countertop Convection Oven. Just got it, unopened new in box. Trying to figure out what to do with it.
