Bottle Opener...Gots to Get Your Mind Right...

Could not resist the image of Luke Jackson reaching into his shirt & pulling out a beer opener on a string around his neck in the opening scene of "Cool Hand Luke". As he opens the beer, the camera pans to show a street full of parking meters' heads that have been lopped off.

<SIGH>

How about on the galley wall? Then when the galley's closed, the riffraff goes back to their campsite and drinks their own beer.

I mounted mine on a drawer front in the galley. I've also got a hand held opener I keep in the drawer. Redundency is critical for the important stuff!

My wife dose not drink much but if she got her hands on this opener location she would hold on to it with a big smile.

Could a wall mount bottle opener be used as a drawer pull or a cabinet knob? As stated above, redundancy is important so also keep a handheld one available.

What does this opener look like? I especially like Mad Jack's, and I will be looking out for something more interesting than the Coca Cola opener, now that you guys bring this subject up to think about.

For the suggestion box... mount it on a steel stake, and pound it in the ground where ever you want it.

I have discovered several unintentional bottle openers in this beer stake which I built a while back.

HUMMM ! Fancy bolt as the drawer pull and a large fenderwasher as the escutcheon plate. We might have something here :thinking:
