We have the Cabelas. I put it up while Kenny does other things. The poles are color coded with tape. very easy and doesnt take much time. Kenny used it as a shower once but it is the potty/dressing room and I put all of our luggage in it so I have never staked it down. I love it

I have the outback shower enclosure as well. I have to find and watch the video on how to fold it every time I use it. What a royal pain! :?

I have the cabela as well.. takes a while to set up, lots of pieces.. I use the solar shower often, mostly at sheep dog trials while camping in hay fields or parks....

Finally the laws of physics are on my side. the hotter the day, the more I need a shower, and the hotter the water is.... so hot I sometimes have to let it cool down for a while.

If the sun starts to set, I cover it with a towel so it retains most of its heat till I use it... typical shower is about 2 gallons.. one problem is I am taller than the shower head, but it is a lot better than no shower at all.

I'd be careful refering to the "laws of physics". Some folks just aren't interested in "how the world rotates". I find understanding "how the world rotates" (or how things work) just facinating and don't understand why all folks don't feel the same, ha.

Cheers,

Here is what I bought from Kmart

http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_1010 ... ts&prdNo=4

This Northwest Territory double shower and changing room has E-Z set up with shock corded poles. The Everdry rain System provides lasting rain protection. There are two rooms, one for shower and one for changing and has a self-draining shower floor and mesh roof for ventilation. Included is a carry bag, one changing room organizer for clothes and personal items, and one hanging shower organizer for soap, shampoo, etc.

Has very high reviews..... 4 and half stars with 15 reviews

Also purchased the ZODI battery powered shower from Amazon

Happy Camping

Ha Ha.....yeah I m one of those guys who dont believe in making camping into a science project.....

 Bought mine today. The only one I could find in stock was a Bass Pro Shop so I had to drive all the way over to Springfield. Then I had to walk all over this huge store and finally found it..... :) I put it up in the family room but the granddaughter thinks it is for her toys....

this just unfolds and pops out. Not too hard to fold up either. It is 52"x52"x76" tall.

Too much of that and Walmart may decide to not allow campers in the parking lot! :o

showering it looks kinda like a cat tied in a pair of pantyhose !

Saturday I picked up a 4x4 pop up style shelter at a yard sale for $15.00. I am gonna try it out as potty/shower central.

Will use one of the pair of sides off of the 10 x 10. If it seems to work well I will invest in a couple more side panels.

I have both the Cabela's 4'5"x4'5" shower shelter and the 8'x4'. I'm selling the 4x4 if anyone is interested for $75. + shipping. It has been used once but never showered in. The solar bag has never been used nor the overhead rain fly. One year old and in brand new condition.

OK! OK!

I got tired of trimming trees and raking leaves and decided to get a few pics
of my $15 yard sale 4x4 pop up in its new role as a potty shower changing room.

The downside of the cabela is that I am taller than the shower bag. Solved that by taking my showers sitting on a milk crate... all is well..
