Just did a Fattie last weekend. Two 1LB breakfast sausage rolls. Combine and roll out between 2 sheets of foil. Add your favorite filling. I used Apples and onions that I saute'd some. Then I put in slices of Lorraine Swiss Cheese. Roll it up like a jelly roll and weave a LB of bacon on it. Slow cook till the bacon is done and slice. An appointment with a Cardiologist would be the next step.

Wow, that's a lot of meat! That would be great at a gathering, just make it up at home.

Yea Bruce, there would be no reason you could not assemble one in advance for a gathering.

That is a thing of beauty! Any worries about the bacon cooking faster than the sausage?

No Pat, I cooked it on the smoker at about 250. It should work well on a grill also if you cook it indirect.

Take a leg of lamb, stab it all over filling the holes with fresh garlic and fresh rosemary
If you can do this the night before but not absolutely necessary
Pop it in the weber and cook it slowly using indirect heat for 2 or 3 hours....
then grease a pan and pop in some roast potatoes and let them roast on the grill for an hour or so. If that's too much hassle then tatties in tinfoil directly on the coals for about an hour or so with a turn now and again
I've had the lamb in a fresh roll... My mouth is watering now...

To accompany this dish; red wine of your choice and good company
