Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

My existing latch won't "latch" it slips out. The previous owner put a latch on the outside, which only works on the outside.!! It makes me a little uncomfortable to think of sleeping in there, where someone can turn the lock on the outside, and I'm stuck.!! Any suggestions?

Shoot, with all these teardrops on here, nobody has a suggestion? Ok, I think I will go with a slide latch on the inside and a combination lock on the outside. Gotta' have them on there, soon.!!
