Yosemite Bear Sighting

Postby halfdome, Danny » Mon Jul 04, 2016 9:50 am

Here's some pictures of a yearling bear running through North Pines campground in Yosemite June 22nd.
They were clearing out the campground for the day to slurry seal the roads.
We were waiting for Upper Pines to open (almost noon) from the same road work when this bear wandered into the campground.
I think it was more afraid of us and someone's dog as it was up a tree for a moment.
I showed the ranger my pictures and that's how I know how old it is.

It did go past the bathroom for a moment and the question arises where do bears really go.
