I might be confused, but, Carry-On's 5x8 flatbed, sold locally by Tractor Supply and Northern Tool's 5x8 (branded as Ironton) are different animals. Times change and so do trailer offerings. If Carry-On are now carried by NT I stand corrected.
Before I bought my Northern Tool trailer for build #2 I asked about Carry-On's 5x8 flatbed at Tractor Supply. The model number is just 5x8 NF (no floor). The quote was $900 shipped to the Michigan store. Yes, they wanted more for the special order trailer than the one in the yard with sides and expanded metal floor. Eventually I selected the Northern tool 5x8. $300 cheaper and
definitely not the same trailer as Carry-On's. But, it's perfectly adequate for a teardrop build if you can accept that the axle will not accept brake brackets without major modifications (ordering a new axle was the least expensive upgrade which brings it closer to the price range of the Carry-On). I decided brakes were an unnecessary luxury for that build.
