Being a real PaIn in the Butt,
i see alot of tears with regular car rims, and nice hub-caps, some even with REAL spoke wheels,

seing as im having NO luck with my jeep wheels,

my next bubble you guys can pop, would be this,

IM set on
1,400 LB PAIR OF HALF TORSION AXLES WITH 5-4.5" HUBS

so with this in mind,

what auto rims at 15inch would fit, properly, that would have steel-spokes (i hate aluminum wheels) or a regular rim that i could put baby moons onto them,

THanks
johnp

oh and another pritty pic for the cost of being that pain,

John, checkout this thread , it contains a fairly comprehensive listing of bolt patterns....also if you enter"bolt AND pattern" in the search engine you will get several pages of discussion about this subject...also google "trailer parts" ....most trailer supply places have a wheel selection, places like SouthWest Wheel, Carlisle Tires and RedNeck Trailer supply have large selections...the 5/4.5 pattern is widely used by Ford and some Chrysler products.....good luck on your hunt

I need 5 by 100 to mach my Tow rig.

Had to buy a set of adapters to make it work. Adapters may not be the coolest thing, but with the weight of a light tear, they should not have a problem IMHO.

The adapters came from: http://www.adaptitusa.com/index.asp?Pag ... Category=5

Rich, What is the offset on those wheels?

I went with steel smoothies from Unique Wheel Inc. .I ordered then at Discount Tire and had them mount the tires (passenger) as well. I have the gray painted centers and may paint them once I pick my colors. They come with trim rings and baby moons. Good luck. I believe they had zero backspacing if I remember right.

I think I paid $280.00 for both wheels and tires mounted ect. I went to the bone yard and picked up a space saver donut spare tire. Don't figure I'll ever need it but my Jeep spare is 32x11.5 and well not fit. Thought the donut was cheap insurance.

Thanks Rich. They look like they have a little offset. I'm trying to get my tires closer to the side walls.

You might look into a "custom" manufactured wheel.... There are companys that will fit the rim and centers of your choice with the "offset" (positive/negetive) of your choice..

Usually no more expensive than buying a "new" wheel....
