Ask questions about Harbor Freight trailers, or questions about building your own...

Last question before I order.

I ASSUME that Harbor Freight trailers come with a Certificate of Origin but I can't see where it says so on the website. Can someone that has purchased a HF trailer tell me if my assumption is correct? I'm planning on using the 1500lb 5x10.

I bought mine at a HF store, and it did come with a Certificate of Origin.

Pretty much take that in to the DMV with your license. plunk down the money ($26 for me in CO) and off you go with plates and an ID sticker that they want you to engrave the number ont he trailer.

The two HF trailers that I purchased at the store in the past required a manager to fill out some form and sign it (maybe it was the CoO).

I bought my HF trailer a couple of weeks ago...they required a valid driver's license and gave me a Certificate of Origin and a completed Bill of Sale that I had to have notorized before going to the Louisiana DMV.
Quick and painless (so far at least LOL). :phew:
