Esteban, I was quoted $281.30 + tax for a number 9 1500# Torflex with Brakes. This INCLUDES the mounting bracket that the distributors (eg Redneck) were going to charge me $38 extra for.

Can someone explain if this will come with a short spindle or long, and what the significance is?

I believe, that unless otherwise specified it will come with the long spindle...there is only a 1/2" diff between the two...this will put your wheel/tire out another 1/2' per side.....
