This is how I did it when fitting up my custom frame; two cinch straps, one looped around each of the long corners, then pull them together with the ratchet strap.

You could get the same effect with a piece of rope. Find the middle of the rope, loop it thru itself around one of the long corners then tie both tag ends to the opposite corner. Use a piece of wood in the middle to twist the two strands of rope like a tourniquet.

It probably won't take a lot of force, as you can see in the above pic the ratchet strap was still pretty slack. The weight of the ratchet was almost enough to get the job done for me.

You measure diagonally across the two sets of corners, one measurement will be longer than other... Put ratchet strap across long side and snug it down, strap will attempt to shorten distance between longest corners... You are attempted to pull a parallelogram in to a true rectangle.....Once ruler says its square across corners (equal distance) tighten everything up...

Image a line between corners A & C is your long side, strap goes across corners A &C and you are forcing (pulling) A&C closer together and eventually it be same distance as across corners B&D...

I wish I had seen this a couple weeks ago. My HF trailer was out of square, and instead of building a really long pipe clamp, I used 3 shorter pipe clamps. It was hilarious.

But it worked!
