I always put important keys on same key ring as car/truck ignition.... If you lose keys they have to be in same location as car/truck...

Dale, you are right on about organizating your keys. It was of those " I will get to that soon" things. They often come back and bite you right in the back side if you are not both careful and diligent.

Well, I can close the story on this one. I found my keys this morning. So as not to embarrass this poster any further, I will not tell where they were. I am starting to worry about myself these days.

But nevertheless, I learned some good techniques about what to do about this should it ever happen again. And I now know how to bypass the lock.

I had same one. Bout 2 seconds with a sawzaw. Found the key not 2 seconds after I cut it off.
