Another advantage is that the trailer is easily modified.ImageImageImage

Beautiful teardrop Friz! I love that Chesapeake Light Craft design.

I have a few quick questions about the trailer, if you don't mind. I am looking at this same one and was wondering about the stake pocket holes. What diameter are they and what is the spacing between the two outer ones in each set? Also, how thick is the aluminum?

Any other comments or advice to someone before buying one?

I will take some measurements when I get home tonight.

The diameter of the holes is a healthy 3/8. Outer hole to hole is 4 3/4. The thickness is 1/8 inch on the side rails. A bit thinner on the cross beams. I would guess 1/10 inch.

thanks a ton. It looks like northern tool sells a stake pocket that matches that hole spacing.

Two other questions, if you don't mind. What is the center to center distance of the leaf spring mounting holes? Do the slipper springs rattle around at all?

I have yet to get it on the road. The leaf spring mounting holes are 25 5/8 apart center to center. This measurement is the mounting holes between the steel carrier for the spring and the trailer frame.

My finished 5x10 based on the NT aluminum frame. I did install a custom torsion axle.Image
