Sorry I didn't get to it today. By the time I got my load of wood unloaded it was pouring.

No worries. I am far enough inland I may get some rain, but nothing major. Stay dry!

spacers, or a wider axle and move the spring perches inboard.

Well dang it.

So I guess I need to:
1) take off one of wheels (from the Tacoma)
2) measure the depth in
3) add 2 inches for space from the trailer (is that enough?)
4) double that number
5) add that to the 48" spring perch width

Should give me axle width? Or am I missing something?

I suck at math. Northern has an adjustable torsion axle. But I don't see brakes for them did I miss them?
